Cant get the hang of this

Something that I wanted to get but couldn't would be the time i wanted to try out for the soccer team and did but didn't end up make it my junior year of high school. i had never tried out for a team in high school before but i thought why not try something new. I also wanted to be able to say in future reference that I did play a sport in high school because all of my friends were doing sports. unfortunately I wasn't able to make the team even though i gave it my all during pre-season and try-outs for about 2 months. But since there was so much more guys trying out and they were much better then me that I lost the opportunity too but i figured that everything happens for a reason.

The significance of why I wanted to try out for the soccer team was because I was playing soccer with friends and clubs since i was a kid. but around my 6th grade of middle school i stopped because i didn't make the time cut for the club and i was too late. after that i never tried for the soccer clubs again and i lost most of my skill. but when i got to high school it was no clubs it was teams that i had to fight for a spot because there wasn't many. For the first few years of high school I couldn't build up the courage to tryout. Then junior year came around and I knew i wanted to be on a team so i did and sadly didn't make the cut.

I was pursing this because it was something i wanted to do. It was also something I found so much joy in as a kid I wanted to feel that type of joy again. unfortunately it wasn't for me that time and once again I knew that everything happens for a reason.

1.  the conclusion that can be drawn from Arthur reaction is that he is sort of at confusion because he doesn't know what to do with all information being given to him.

2. The question being raised is the usefulness of the intuition.

3. They're both being destroyed to create a king of road way .

Irony and Satire

Satire:
one example of satire on the interwebs would be the TV series ' Black Mirror ' this show contains a lot of dark juvenalian satire.
Another example of satire would be ' The Larry Sanders Show ' this show usually targets stupid political and social views.

Irony:
one example of irony on the interweb would be the movie Monster Inc.
Another example of irony would be Lion King.

DON'T PANIC

  • Theme; I believe that the theme could be that Everyone is allowed to change for the better.
  • Characters; Arthur Dent , Mr. L Prosser , some little girl , Ford Perfect
  • Setting; A house
  • Plot; The plot right now as of this Chapter would be Arthur's house is going to be demolished to build a bypass and Arthur is trying to stop it.
  • Literary terms/Devices;
My prediction on what is going to happen next is that Mr. Prosser will break his promise and remove himself from the mud. after that i think hes going to demolish the house because Ford made Arthur believe that Mr. L Prosser would take his place.

1. The story begins with a not very appealing house and how the only person who cares about it is Arthur Dent because it was his house. This helps me introduce the main protagonist because now i know who the main character is. Arthur Dent is a very simple man who is had moved from London and was 30 years old with dark hair and was never really happy with himself. This introduction helps me figure out the main plot because it tells me who's house it is and whats happening with the house and Arthur Dent.

2. Ford Perfect is Arthur Dents close friend from a small planet from Betelgeuse who came to earth 15 years prior. We are introduced to Ford when he Woke up Arthur from the mud he sat in. Their relationship was that they were close friends who drink and talk together. Ford was on Earth because he got stranded because he was doing research. And Ford likes towels so much because its the most useful thing a interstellar hitchhiker can have.

Quote interpretation

The first quote stating “The first key to wisdom is constant questioning…by doubting we are led to inquiry, and by inquiry we discern the truth.” -Peter Abeland (1079-1142) to me means that in order to have wise knowledge you have to always ask why or wonder more because its the only way for you to obtain more information. And learning new information makes us misguide the truth. The second stating “It is better to know some of the questions than all of the answers.” -James Thurber (1894-1961) interprets to me as its better to question your decisions and make certain choices rather than knowing everything. Both of these quotes correlate to myself because in order to be a genially wise and civil individual is always asking myself questions to make myself more knowledgeable to be a better and stronger person. both these sentences also correlate to society because if there was no question asking there wouldn't be a society to even speak on. It also correlates to society because decision making is such an important concept society and we don't always have the answer so having better knowledge so its helps us as a country.
